Now showing: "Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture 1920-1945": This exhibit ? the first of its kind held outside Tokyo ? features nearly 200 works: metalwork, glass, furniture, painting and more, that convey the social and cultural tensions in pre-war and war-era Japan, through Oct. 28; also home to the permanent Ringling Collection, includes works by Diego Velazquez, Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, Titian, Tintoretto and El Greco, and The Circus Museum, which documents the history of the American circus; also home to Ca d'Zan Mansion, Asolo Theater, Treviso Restaurant, Banyan Caf?, gift shops; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; $25 adults, $10 for children 6 to 17 years old, children under 7 free.

Now showing: "A Modern Legacy: Contemporary Art from the Gulf Coast Museum Collection," an exhibition honoring the legacy of former museum that includes large-scale photography, paintings art craft and installation art, through Oct. 7; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; $5 adults, $4 seniors, free for children and students with ID.

Now showing: "Global + Local: Studio and Contemporary Glass on Florida's West Coast," showcases 60 works from 10 collections, including works by by Dale Chihuly, Richard Ritter, Harvey Littleton, Toots Zinsky and Yoichi Ohira; exhibit is part of the nationwide celebration o the 50th anniversary of the Studio Glass Movement; through Oct. 14; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; $17 adults, $14 seniors 65 and older, $10 students with ID and youth age 7 to 18, free for children 6 and younger.
